Jamie Hayron designed for Magis this series of chairs colled Piña. A mix of materials characterizes this series: frame in steel tube painted in epoxy resin. Seat in steel rod painted in epoxy resin. Rockers in solid ash natural or painted. Seat/back cushion covered in fabric (Kvadrat “Steelcut 2“). This series reinterprets modern wicker chairs, covered with soft cushions.
Magis is a historic Italian company founded in 1976 by Eugenio Perazza. Magis looks like as a great laboratory for cutting-edge design and experimentation, able to detect the creativity of the international and emerging designers, markets, and direct it to objects that set trends.
