The product wants to remember the ancient Asian lanterns reinvented according to a modern aesthetic.Dating back centuries, paper lanterns were present in Asia among the privileged and the poor, where different colors, shapes and sizes connote different meanings. Here Hayon gave up the cultural formalities to create a collection of lanterns all in white. "Lamps play such an important role in people's lives," explains Hayon. "For some cultures, they drive away the darkness bringing hope"
