The metal wire draw the profile line of the stool, and the straw cord creates a seat that from the top looks like a donut.

In the structure it’s easy to recognize the style researches that the designer Alessandra Baldereshi has been undertaking in the last years: the creation of furniture by drawing 3D lines with metal wires.

The seat has been inspired by the tradition of the chair-menders.

After training in Art School, Alessandra Baldereschi gained a master’s degree in Industrial Design at Domus Academy. In 2001 she was granted a residency to study in Japan where she developed projects for ceramic tableware with companies based in the district of Gifu. When she returned to Italy, she started working with numerous companies. In 2010 she was named one of the ten best new generation designers by Ad Spain. Currently, Alessandra’s Studio working for various brands in the design industry.
