Raviolo

Raviolo had the goal of creating a plastic product in a rotation procedure that convinces with an unusual shape and fulfills the highest demands. Ron Arad and Magis selected a shape that is based on a wound plastic band for Raviolo. The idea of the design has long remained in Ron Arad’s head and now it was perfectly adjusted to the rotational procedure. The finished Raviolo lounger mixes the characteristics of the manufacturing process in its design and aslo displays the rotation process at the external, looped texture.

Magis is a historic Italian company founded in 1976 by Eugenio Perazza. Magis looks like as a great laboratory for cutting-edge design and experimentation, able to detect the creativity of the international and emerging designers, markets, and direct it to objects that set trends.
